Chilly was looking a little grimy, so I paid a guy to clean and wax her.

Let me emphasize this is the first time I have ever paid someone to clean a car except for the regular car wash. This was also the first time I ever met this guy, I went strictly by word of mouth.

Nevertheless, she looks fantastic. I will post pics tomorrow. I have never seen such a wax job.

I am not trying to advertise for this guy, but I have to recommend him to anyone in the DC Metro area. I'm not sure how far out he will go, but I think Baltimore County is his limit to the north.

He will come to your house or your job, and he brings everything with him including water and electricity. I was impressed. He can do a MINI in about an hour and a half depending on which package you choose. He will work as long as the weather is good and the temp. is above 40 degrees ( I think).

If you are really interested send me a PM, and I'll send you his number. I get nothing for this, I just think that a good job deserves recognition. I hope I idid not break any site rules by posting this, but I am really happy and I can't wait to take her out tomorrow.

Well here is goes. I hope these look ok, and if they do sorry about the water spots. I got so caught up in motoring that I forgot to take the pics before the rain.

The gentleman that did this fine work is Andre Hodo, and his company's name is Hodo's Diamond Detailing. If you are in Maryland or DC send me a PM and I can promise you will not be disappointed.

P.S. I personally thought his prices were reasonable.

I find it interesting that your user name is so close to mine in spelling and we both have black MINIs.
The all black looks great, BTW. But I'm sure you already knew that.

Curious as to what he charged. I realize that there may be variables involved.
