Okay, just wondering what everyone's experience was re: time spent at the VPC. My car arrived in NYC last Thursday but didn't make it to the VPC until this morning. Ask Mini just told me it will take at least A WEEK at the VPC. I'm v disappointed that my car isn't going to be here in time for the holidays -- especially as my Estimated Delivery per the Owner's Lounge was last Friday!!

Mine made it to the VPC the same day that it was offloaded from the boat and spent 7 days there and then 1 day to Manhattan mini - picking up today!... My understanding is that the BMW VPC is on the next pier from the boat dock so it seems odd that it took so long for yours to get there.....

 

My car was produced on 16 October. It arrived in the states (NJ) on 30 October and was at the dealership (Ohio) on the 3rd of November. I took delivery on 5 November. Now, there was another person on the Haul Triton with me and he just took delivery of his car around Thanksgiving.

I guess it just depends on if there are any customs issues with the car. I am not sure what is looked for at the distro center.

Good luck in getting your car soon! It made me crazy to think that I might've had to wait more than I did for my car!

Mine got off the boat on the 10th of December, then didn't get to the VDC until the 17th. It only spent one day there, and now should be on the way to (or at) the dealer. I pick it up on Sat
