Red Bull Mini!!

Has anyone else seen the redbull Mini? The previous car I owned was sponsered by red bull also, what are the odds of that. Anyway, I was sitting in the French Quarter in New Orleans ealer tonight and looked over my right shoulder and out of nowhere I saw a red bull mini. I grabbed my camera phone and ran out of the bar to see it better. There was a few other ppl looking at the car and when I went up to it and spoke with them, she said she just got it a month ago. Is Mini selling these cars through red bull now? LOL I didn't have time to ask her any other details b/c they were on the street and the light turned green, but i did get 2 pics. Kinda blurry b/c it was the only camera I had at the time and it was at night.

Yes the brake light is in the bottom of the red bull can. LOL Sorry about the quality. I was just wondering if anyone else on here knows anyone who has one and if they like it as a 2 seater.

I think there is a Red Bull MINI in Hawaii but I don't have a picture handy.
I've seen it at our dealership a month ago.

Notice the wheels are different in some of the pictures. I think there is a fleet of these MINIs.

Anybody see the movie "cellular" which featured this MINI parked at the store where he needed to replace his cell phone battery????

Now if you took off the can and the cover over the back you would have the first MINI pickup truck.

In the ricer world, I wonder how much horsepower that can would add.

It would be a hugh amount, but would be negated by the fact you would be pushing so much more air

I like their approach for the two-tone color scheme on the body/wheel arches, some cool ideas there. They really need to lose that big can, though.

I agree, I dont like ad's on my vehicle or bumper stickers for that matter. My point was more the fact that if you removed the can you would have the first MINI pickup. You can just picutre MINI owners hauling 2x4's...... though they might stick out the back a bit.

Marketing 101...they're company promotional cars, not personal rides...would you rather it be a VW Beetle or a PT Cruiser?

This Red Bull car did quite well this weekend in Melbourne, Australia, finishing 4th and 7th...

Go Fast!

Go Fast! (a much smaller Energy Drink maker) has a nice MINI, too. You can see some photos on the linked web page. Plus, it doesn't have the stupid can. And, I've ridden in the Go Fast! MINI. Also, Go Fast! is a way better thing to put on a MINI, in my opinion.

the classic mini

I think its bad enough that they do it to new MINI's, but Classics!?!? How could they do such a thing to something so COOL. I even like Red Bull, but I don't like it when companies ruin cars like that, its what comercials (and pop-up ads) are for.
Peace,
James

It's VW's Dakar Race Touareg.
