I had lots of plans too but once I got her it was LOTS of motoring time. Hardly any pics taken at first, just too busy driving. Good luck with your plan.

I'm not kidding around! Maybe if I just sleep through the next few days it'll make it easier!

Well, Sunday is all about showing it off to some people, so it has to look it's best before that I'm a photofreak too, so there's no doubt there will be HUNDREDS of pictures the first day!

I know that I am going to take a billion pics of my car BEFORE she gets off the truck... but thats because i cannot drive her then.

I plan even more when i actually get to bring her home from the dealership! (we will see how that goes)

good luck with all that planning... let us know if you actually do any of the detailing!

Best wishes to you, kaelaria, as you await taking delivery! Are you dreaming about motoring every night? I know I sure did!

Of course you will motor a lot, but bonding with your new baby also takes place with the detailing ritual! You go, guy!

I don't see your new pully and CAI in that photo or even your new exhaust.

OK got the car tonight, 2 days early and LOVE it!!!

Did have some disturbing glitches though, mostly dealer related, one Mini related.

When I was taken out back to be shown the car, my heart sank. Silver instead of white wheels, and no white stripes! Turns out the salesman never told them about the stripes, and he had to have someone from the BMW dealer next door come to open the parts dept. back up, and have an installer who was walking out, stay to get them on.

LUCKILY I really like the silver wheels, they show off the chrome very well. Somehow I didn't check the white wheels option on the particular save of the build that I had emailed the MA. I actually just wrote him an apology email, we thought it was a problem withthe order or online configurator, since it's known to have a few other things wrong.

The only real problem is the radio - it randomly shuts off while driving, and stays on after you shut the car off. I'm not sure if it's related to them installing the Ipod adaptor or what, but that needs to be fixed. Other than that it's perfect!

The only thing I was not happy about was during the paperwork session...right at the end they tried to slip in a $500 'market adjustment'. Needless to say ti was refused, and suddenly it was a mistake

But all in all, I have the car at the price point I wanted, it's wonderful and I'm VERY happy!

Great looking car! Take it easy in the rain on those new tires - - they're pretty slippery for the first couple of hundred miles.

Ok I know whats causing the radio to go off. THere is a loose connection, caused by the crap iPod job. THey need to fix this loose connection, so get it done asap, because stuff like this can damage the electrics on the car.
