Hi All!

Well, I have been to 4 dealerships in Northern California and NONE of them had what I have configured: a CR/W w/CR interior surface. In fact, only one had a CR Mini (Red on Red w/no white and no CR int. surface).

I've configured a MCS CR/W w/CR interior surface and standard black leatherette sport seats and sunroof but have never actually seen one.

Does anyone have pics of the interior to show me? I need them quick. My order is going out tomorrow.

 

I have seen it in person and looks OK, not bad at all. My only pet peeve with the CR dashboard is that makes the car feel smaller inside. I also found it to be a little too much red in the cockpit. But then again it all depends on your taste and what appeals best for you.

Originally, I had taught to get the CR dash with the new gray/black leatherette seats, but decided to go with the "business" like interior I had before in my '04 CR/W MCS: Anthracite dash with panther black leatherette seats.

My new '05 MCS is also CR/W with the chrome exterior package and the Union Jack roof flag decal. While the exterior scheme screams "Look at me!!" I prefer to have a more subdued interior.

Do a search. Someone recently posted some pics for me of his '05 MCS with the CR dashboard and grey leatherette seats.

The CR/W with body color interior is what I ordered and is due in a couple of weeks. I ordered black leather seats.

My wife's car (VW Conv chick car)is Red w/ red body color. I know, kinda wierd having two red cars

When it comes in I'll post a picture.

Yes, that's it! Almost exactly what I ordered. For me the red seats are a bit much, so I'll stick with the black leatherette sport seats.

Keep the pics coming. I need to stoke the drool factor!

 

Once I saw a car with the red dash/door rings and chrome trim in person, my mind was made up. Goodbye Dark Silver, hello Chili Red! This little detail makes a unique car look truly unforgettable.

 

Of all the comments I get, most are regarding the red (almost retro-style) interior. With the top down, it's just such an eye-catcher!

My focus was on the CR + touches of black + chrome...and lots of it! If you haven't done so, get the chrome interior, too.

Apples & apples...here's the red with your same black leatherette seats. You won't be disappointed!

Sweet car Cherry 2005. We have a 2004 S with anthracite dash (body color wasn't available at the time). Since I like the new armrests on the 2005 and love the red dash with chrome (it's a lot better in person than in the photos) we plan to "redecorate" the interior sometime this year with the CR dash, chrome details and new CR armrests. I may even get the downtubes and actual armrest tubes painted red while I'm at it.

What a couple of months will do for a MINI owner? When I ordered my MINI, very few people had the Chili Red interior and it was next to impossible to find any pics with Space Gray/Panther Black seats and the CR interior. Well, now I see lots of people have ordered and/or are going to order the CR interior . . . very cool!

I have some pics of my CR/B MCC -- you can click on my sig and then you'll see my gallery. It's not exactly what you are looking for, but you'll get the idea. I didn't order chrome interior . . . I really didn't like the chrome on the interior as much as I liked it on the exterior. (just my opinion)

I think most of us agree, the Chili Red interior is FABULOUS!!

I think the chrome interior really sets it off. One friend of mine described the interior as like a 50's diner, which I think is a good description. It looks great at night with the convertible dome light just above it, and the bling factor in the sun absolutely pops. Really draws attention. Should be a real attention getter in the summer sun with the top down.
