Work vs. Motor

Sat down an hour ago to get some work done. Have been fiddling around on this site ever since. Now I got such an itch to get out and tool around for a bit that work's screwed. I'm goin' motorin'! Work will be here when I get back tomorrow.

Mini....bad for productivity.

You'll get back inside, sit down for 5 minutes, and realize you want to motor again

You lucky dog!

I spend an hour total to and from work. That's five hours a week. That's around 250 hours of motoring a year to and from work! That would be a lot of wasted time if I were not in a MINI!

Yes I agree with that. Unfortunatelly I can't just leave to go motoring where I work. I would give anything for a good job that would let me just leave and go motoring and let me do work later. I do have a good job, but It requires me to sit in front of my computer for 8 hours a day...

Find a similar job, just farther from home. More motor worthy. Although, it can be tough to motor with carpal tunnel.

You people that drive 100 miles or more going to and from work every day almost make me jealous! I've been retired for over twenty years and have to dream up excuses to go motoring.

Nick! You're retired! You don't need a reason!

excuses are easy...
1. dump milk down drain...GOTTA have milk!
2. friend told me that gas was only $2.09 over in the other county..i better top off before it goes up again!
3. 7 x 8 = 56 ... I'll motor to THAT!

I live 2.5 miles from work... Guess I'll have to find a l-o-n-g route once the MINI arrives...

i'm maybe a 2 minute drive from work, yet mysteriously, it still takes me at least 20 minutes to get there each day
