Ok, I am desperate for help. I am trying to find a great gift for my father-in-law in the $175.00 range. Anybody have any unique ideas? He seems to have just about everything. I am leaning toward a hot air ballon ride.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.!

Oh, I think we'll need some more info! He may have lots of things, but what are his interests/passions? I would love a professional cooking course which would fall in that range, yet he may not. Maybe a spring-time fishing charter out on the lake?

Yes, Wedge!

Give us a few hints about him! Like, what does he, ahem, drive...for instance? Tee hee...that speaks volumes! Any hobbies or passions?

Cheers!

He drives a Volvo! How exciting.
He likes golf, wine, reading, BBQ Cooking, gardening.
But he has all the gagets that go with it.
He drove Stock cars when he was younger.

What do you think?

The hot air balloon ride sounds neat, but if you don't want to go that route why not get him a gift certificate/card for his favorite store or something?? Those are always a big hit w/ my family!!

Hmmmm, Wedge!

I think the hot air balloon ride is a very good idea, after all!

Cheers!

Hmmm...This doesn't seem like a "MINI topic"! How 'bout moving this into "off-topic"?

If your're going to be at Disney, how about a Back Stage tour of all of their gardening areas. They go through all the storage areas, show how they make all the topiariys (plants that look like animals and stuff, no idea how to spell it) and a buch of other stuff.

They also have a back stage tour of Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and MGM for I think 200.

You could also reserve the table in the Kitchen at Victoria and Alberts in the Grand Floridian Hotel. You get to have a personal dinnig experience with the Chef while he demonstrates cooking stuff. Pretty cool.
