Hello all,
i was just wondering if there was anyone around the Lake - Geauga area that might wanna motor around sometime. i dont know too many people with minis around here, so if anyone wants to meet up at say... Anabelles sometime, gimme a hollar!

I would be up for it...i will be back in town(hudson) for the first week or two of march if you want to go for some runs

 

I too would like the opportunity to meet more MINIacs! I live in Westpark off I-90 at Warren rd. I work though, at Cuyahoga County airport, so I'm on the east side too. Just give a couple of days heads up and Let's Motor!!

RednWhite, I dont have my Mini yet, but me and my buddys ride our sportbikes on what we call the Leroy Loop. From Chardon, take 44s to Girdled rd east to left on Callow rd, the curves start there. This dead ends at 86. Take 86 left to Williams road left (the curves start again), then left on Cascade Rd (Cascade has alot of homes, but was made for the mini). This will take you back Girdled rd. Take Girdled left back to left on Callow rd again. Again go left on 86, except dont turn on Williams Rd, keep going straight. Theres mega curves for a few miles before you get to Painesville. Once you get to the 86 and 84 intersection, turn around and repeat. Its not the dragon by any means, but its a great little course close by. These are all nice tight turns, but will not be ripe for ripping till the weather breaks.

slick, fellow motorers near me. i want to get a bunch of the guys to meet up at annabelles in mentor on the first day they open this year. i wanna see if we can fill the grass in fron of the diner (room for about 10 cars) and get a pic of it and post it up here. i'll be sure to contact you guys as soon as my mini comes in so we can go motor. mine due into Classic on the 24th of this month, so it wont be long. i'm up for a winter drive thru the backroads out here, or even a nice drive down the highway.

I just picked up my Mini on Saturday! I live in Twinsburg. I might be in for some motoring - in a few weeks. I'm going to be out of town next week. It would be cool to meet some fellow Mini owners.

I live in Medina.. About 30 min south of cleveburg on I-71. I'll be at Classic picking up my mini on Friday!! WOO HOO can't wait.

Anyone planning on going to the opening day of Kings island for the new MINI ride? See post in midwest forum.

 

Would love to join up with anyone in Cleveland or Columbus for motoring. I'm formally from Cleveland, and am up there quite a bit. Keep me posted!!

 

doesn anyone wanna meet up at Summit racing during the first weekend of march? summit is off of 76 in Akron. i would like to see if we can get some guys up there to meet up, perhaps go for a dirve or just browse the largest car parts showroom in the midwest!

It's too bad they dont carry more stuff for mini coopers....just a few things like borla exhausts and wilwood bbks...do they have real company racing seats like sparco and recaro? Or do they just carry their "summit brand" seats

Are you sure? I just checked their website and they said they didnt have them. And i have been to the showroom quite a few times and have never had them on the floor...maybe they are in back?

Did you ask someone or have you seen them there before? If thats the case, i will save on shipping and just pick up my seats when i go to meet with you :smile:

 

ive seen them there before, sparcos at least. i think they were sparcos. could have been sparkos, the ricer off brand ones lol
