Check #4 above first. It's located on the clutch master cylinder attached to the clutch pedal inside the car. It's an ignition lockout switch and must be attached to the clutch master cylinder in order for the car to start (they can become disconnected). It's also possible that this switch is defective and causing your no-start issue. The switch is only ~$23.
Ok, switch was replaced first try nothing, second try I could hear the car trying to starter trying to turnover and with in a sec or two it turned over. Car was moved turned off and has not turned back on since. Any Ideas where to go from here battery is not old and it did turn over today like i stated, but now I dont even hear the starter trying to engage
Have you tried jumping the battery with another car? If it jumps and starts then your battery is suspect. Your battery, though not old, could have a dead cell. First task is to have it tested. MINIs are notorious for having problems with a weak battery. Testing is free at AutoZone, O'Reilly's, etc.
Thank you for the advise, I have a tester checked it a couple weeks ago when issue presented itself and it was in the green, will check again. Just rolled it down the hill popped the clutch and still did not want to turn over, that is a 1st for me.
