Average stay in Charleston VDC?

Hi,

My MCS should have reached port on Feb 4th. I understand there are a few factors that can effect the cars length of stay at the VDC.

However, I am curious as to how long cars have stayed in VDC for you owners who took delivery through the port in Charleston.

Thanks,

Erik in ATL

My car due in the Charleston port on Feb 10th.
The MA at Jackie Cooper Mini in Oaklahoma City said they that MINI
"Guaranties" the cars delivered 10 days after the ship docks.
But they have been getting them in 4 days. So, it must be a very
short time the cars are at VDC.
I'm sure some others will respond to this thread with recent deliveries.

That's good news. My MCS is due in to the Charleston port on the 17th. My MA said months ago that I would get it in the first week of March, but if they get it around the 21st, I may see my car in February.

That would be perfect. I get paid on the 20th, so can get that one more paycheck to put toward the down payment before I get it.

From following the Jan Build thread, some of those guys who had their cars unloaded a week before me are already getting there cars at the dealer. So, I'm just guessing I am a week behind in getting mine (finger crossed).

This would be great as I have a wedding to go to in Savannah on 2/19. Those will be some solid break in miles from Atlanta

At the dock

My MA also told me that it was about 4 days from arrival at the dock to the dealer in Indianapolis. Our cars were shipmates, came in on the 4th as well.

Sting was a the VDC for 24 hours and delivered to Atlanta the next day.
Global called me to say he was in but I would have to wait a couple of days before I picked him up, (they sold like 75 Minis that month).
