Hello, I am new to mini cooper and have just got a 2005 base model with a busted getrag 5 speed transmission.
I have found a 2007 cooper S with a 6 speed and everything to do a conversion. I need to know if this will mount up in my mini.
My car is a R50.

Short answer is - Yes, it will "mount up" but is a bit more involved. I've blown two midlands transmissions, while the second was still functioning I started piecing together what was needed to complete the swap. I ended up swapping the whole car out for an S.
