Not exactly sure why you are looking for some stock injectors, but I have a slightly used set (13k miles) taken off my car when I did the JCW upgrade recently. I'd be willing to sell these to you for 50% of the cost of the new parts. I'm also in the SF area (Home=Berkeley, Work=San Carlos). PM me if you're interested.

Local Mini dealer has them at 125.00 ea.. Its why i went to buying the JCW upgrade kit. for 450.00 est. then sold the airbox for 200.00

Trust me you can sell the air box quickly and for more than the 200.00 i sold it for.

Do you have a full JCW kit on your car already? Because the JCW injectors and ECU upgrade only came in the JCW upgrade kit for those with the full JCW kit.

AFAIK, you don't need to have a JCW car to buy the upgrade kit.

I don't think Mugami has a Works Kit on his car.

If you're local dealer won't sell you the upgrade kit, try Classic.

Nope i dont have the JCW kit. Just went up to the parts counter and ordered it. Or you can go to Classic and order it. As for the reflash i was prepared for them to attempt to turn me down.. Simply because i havent done the Recall as of yet. So i had them no matter what they pulled. BTW the guy behind the service counter didnt want to do it.. but the Tech had me covered and showed the sales guy behind the counter where it was in the instructions.
Currently I've put the 500 miles on the car.. but we have some snow down here. and unlike Pilo i dont take the mini out in the snow even when its a dusting.

That's a great price. If my quick head math is correct, it came out to be about 65 per injector. Not bad! BTW, how much bigger are the nozzles on that upgrade kit? i.e. what size is stock and what size is the JCW?

I cant confirm the size due to hearing many different sizes.. the Stocker are suppose to be 340cc the upgraded ones are either 380cc, 391cc or 398cc. Which is what i heard from different Techs at the dealership and from this board.

I can vouch for Mugami as his car is not stock and it's not a JCW either, but he was able to buy the upgrade kit anyway .BTW, I have a stock set of MCS injectors for sale if anyone is interested (I've been in touch with JCampos).

You have your MCS with stock injectors.
You go to your shop to install larger injectors.
You drop off your car- they do the install
You get your car back with larger injectors.

If you have to return the stock injectors for a core deposit then you loose them.

The extra stock injectors would be for back up purposes in case of any problems with the larger injectors.

I to have made plans to purchase the JCW CAI with larger Injectors, and yes you can BUY the complete kit I spoke with classic and its KOOL 550.00. My question is this I have a 15% reduction pulley allready installed, after I install the JCW CAI and injectors will Franz at MTH be able to remap my ECU to take into account the larger injectors? Could I run the car with the larger injectors with out remapping the ECU?

to answer why i dont want to be without injector.. From what i understand. JCampos is wanting to get the injector from M7. Who is requiring that he sends his old injectors to him. Before he recieves the New injectors This sounds like they are to be blueprinited and altered instead of the normal core exchange. So JC just doesnt want to be without his beloved MINI while this is going on.

For MINI-Driver .. yes you can run the car with the bigger injector on the original MTH programing. I have before the ReFLash to the JCW 210 V36 programming which i've sent to Franz for updating. Incase of those who got the JCW upgrade on a JCW car already most like MikecooperMike. There was no reprogramming needed to get the car to the 210 status.. The larger injectors was all it needed to run a little richer which improved the car all the way around

The remap is not needed to run the car, but the remap takes into account the higher flow intake and the larger injectors and further optimizes it.

My dealer (Crown MINI of Richmond) refused to update the software when I did the JCW upgrade with the new airbox and injectors. Apparently, it's supposed to be JCW and V36 (which I have now) and NOT V39 since it's an '03 model . Hmmm OK, whatever .

Yea... sorry... I was "unavailable" for a few days This is correct, I have to send my injectors to M7 overnight, they modify them the next day, and then send them back overnight.
