Anyone have the iso file of the 2003 configurator?
I know this is a long shot, and so I am shouting (hence the caps) out to all of the old OG owners who might still be here to see if anyone has the ISO file of the configurator. Back in the day, MiniUSA used to offer the configurator as a standalone cd image (working software) for owners to download and play around with. I would like to get a copy of the 2003 version of the configurator, and I think I even may have used to have a copy myself, but I don't any longer. I sent an email requesting the file from MiniUSA.com, but I don't have high hopes.
ANYONE!?!?
ANYONE!?!?

I have some oddball stuff, but don't think that I have one of those.
Actually had to look up the definition of ISO because I'm techno-illiterate LOL
Sounds like lots of fun though,
playing around with the old configurator would be a blast!

Attempted to access the vintage miniusa site via the wayback machine,
but since it was flash it didn't seem to be archived.
If anyone has old screenshots or youtube videos displaying the old marketing stuff,
I'd love to see 'em!
Here's the Roof Studio

This one below cracks me up!
I tried about every version of every site I could think of on waybackmachine. No luck.
Nothing back from miniusa.com yet either, but not expecting much. It's funny the kicks you get on sometimes...

Forsooth!
Getting from point A to point B for me is often littered with deep rabbit-holes!

Your post prompted a funny kick for me of wanting to see the old configurator,
and gave it another go round this morning.
Would be so cool if wayback had it,
but can't get past the Flash...

...tried the UK version with no dice either.
Perhaps if we could find a specific direct link to the older version it might work in the machine,
but I could only find the general address...

...will keep looking for a secret key.

Big part of the fun with never arriving at Point B,
is that you get to see much more scenery,
like this morning saw an old print advert I haven't glimpsed before:

Well, added a Flash emulator to chrome and got the emulator to display a play button, but the flash package must not be completely intact as it will not start up. Going to try a couple more of the snapshot images on waybackmachine, but not very hopeful at this point.

Good work and nice sleuthing!
At least you landed some cool screenshots, thanks for sharing.
Reminds me yet again just how ephemeral all this internet content is.
Recently saw on BoingBoing a blurb about oldestsearch.com and thought it'd be neat, but actually had more luck just using google with a custom date range, like finding this old post from 2003 where they're talking about using the Build Your Own and one post in particular struck me as perhaps an early example of txt,
like it was written with large thumbs
on a small
flipphone...
miniusa.com tends to nto have the greatest information but when it comes to the vechile builder it is bar none hands down teh best on any site and stays fairly more current to what mni offers, one of the only major thigns I've noticed is that the pop up abotu teh toggel switches leaves teh empty socket filled jsut as an extra switch.. how sad they didn't't just leve all the switches in... it is estecticaly more pleasing.. ok so without posting a nother messege does anybody knwo if you can get asc/dsc installed after you've bought the car??

Sent my old MA Andrea who I bought my car from an email today. She's still at the same dealer complex, but is a manager for their Honda or Toyota side now. Asked if she'd be willing to check drawers or look in broom closets to see if they had any of the configurators on cd anywhere. Fingers crossed.
