Contact "adriancl" on this forum. He's tuned around 40-50 forum members' R53s including mine. It's a simple process and Adrian is really good at it.

^^^ Count me in as a soon-to-be customer of Adrian! Still waiting on ordered 380cc injectors but already have required adapter cables and dongle for remote tuning.

I did a before/after dyno run on my MC40. My first dyno run netted 176.5hp at the wheel (Dinan Stage 1 tune). I added a 15% S/C pulley, 380cc injectors, colder plugs and a tune from Adrian on this forum. After these mods my dyno run indicated 193.5hp at the wheel (approx. 220hp at the crankshaft). These may not be the HP numbers you're chasing but this will give you an idea on how much the tune can help. You're going to need to spend serious money to get past 250hp (@ crank) with a small displacement, 1.6L supercharged engine.

Sounds like you've done some nice mods but to get the power you're indicating (LOTS) you'll need forged internals and an aftermarket, better breathing head and exhaust system. Now, you may already have that but if not then you're looking at another $5,000 easy. The supercharged engine is just too small to produce a bunch of HP. There's always going to a turbo or a Honda K-swap for max HP gains.

I’ve done everything but the head I’m just trying to push this motor to the max then I’m swapping either a k24 or a 383 v8

Unfortunately, the Head is the problem, factory head (even JCW) is a compete bottleneck for making any power over 225-250 WHP, even with W/M and/or Nitrous, these engines just won't breathe well enough without head porting and larger valves.

Sucks when physics gets in the way!
But it is what it is....
