I have an 05 S that has factory fog lights - or had. When I bought the car it was hit and it damaged the plugs for the fogs. On the left side it ripped the entire plug off. On the left side I've got a blue/green with lime green and the right side a blue/red with lime green. At a local pull and pay is an 06 but the wires are a different color. My plan is to just cut the wires off the car in the yard back far enough just to splice them in to the existing wire on my car. But which wire will go where?

as an also asked - same situation for the temp sender plug/wire- what color is it supposed to be so I can find it?

I would bet since the left and right connectors both have a blue wire, that wire would go into the same cavity of each connector. Logically, the wires with the lime green tracer would then go into the remaining cavity.

By 'temp sender plug/wire" are you referring to the ambient air temperature sensor?

If so, on my 2003 R53 it's behind the front bumper cover grill on the driver side. The actual sensor is a black, cone-shaped thing that clips onto the bumper cover. I have no idea what color the wire is though but it's the longest one on the driver side section of wire harness that goes to the turn signal, horn, side marker, etc...
