Do Minis Have Bigger *****?

This is just an observation. I get in and out of many cars a day and it seems to me that the Mini has the largest shifter ball (****) of the standard equipped cars.

No, it was about the shiftknob, with an entirely misleading title!

Cause there's only one shift ****. But yes, it does seem bigger than many. But when I looked aftermarket to find the MOMO I have now, it seems to be a trend..... There are lots of larger spheres available. But for stock? It's diameter is bigger than the one in my mustange by quite a bit.

Also, I was in Mini of Mountain View to do the smog upgrade. They have color coordinated *****, but at the amazingly high cost of $100!

But seriously, I think it might be toward the larger end of the spectrum—since I don't remeber anything else I've driven having a larger shift ****.

Kinda reminds me of a Classic AC/DC song from the early 1980's!

Isn't the length of the shifter actually more important?
