Lower motor mount?

Thinking about replacing the factory lower motor mount for a Torque Solutions polyurethane one; are these better? Thanks

Poly is meant to eliminate movement but it also is better at transferring vibration. Unless you're running high horsepower and track your MINI my recommendation for a daily driver is to use the stock mount.

I was afraid of the vibration problem with polyurethane bushings. Thanks for your advice…

NVH does increase, but I noticed that it reduced the engine movement significantly on takeoff. It's pretty easy to swap back out if you don't like it.

My car has a lot of mods that removed unnecessary movement, this being one. NVH is higher, but to me it's worth it. Everyobody's tolerance and expectations are different. I'm pretty happy with the mods I have, but it's definitely not stock ride.

The TS one is *VERY* stiff. Your dash will vibrate loudly. I replaced it with a stock unit that I added Super Pro poly bushings to. Great improvement.

Appreciate your advice on the TS lower mount, I will use the Super Pro’s instead. Thanks….

Just Upgrade the stock bushings in the mount. Use polly inserts for the rear and replace the front little one with a solid polly bushing. You can even windoweld fill the bushings throughout the car... filling the bushing with windoweld and polly front bushing is what I did and it didn't add much vibration at all and..the top engine mount really absorbs most of the vibrations anyways so if that's left stock your car will soak up most engine vibrations through that one anyways. Others are mainy for take off and shifting , absolutely upgrade them. Your thank your self after your 1st fast shift after upgrading.

Not a reccomendation or a fix....

My apologies for the unrelated interjection. I have no input/experience with aftermarket mounts.
However,@MiniManAdam , I was bored one day, while cleaning my engine bay, I discovered the rubber in the top right engine mount was cracked. Already replaced it once. I had a tube of GE black silicone laying around and decided to fill the voids in the rubber mount. - Just for the heck of it. Worked great. Super smooth - Made a difference. Will replace the mount at a later date.
