How I surprised my wife with her 05 MCS!

Here are the pics. Ordered "Smurf" in November, arrived at the dealer a few days before Christmas, picked it up 12/29, surprised her with it 1/9/05... those 12 or so days after I picked it up and left it in a neighbor's driveway were TORTURE!

Only 800 more miles to go until no mo' break in!

Mini logo/pin stripes

Dr Quinn,

Did the dealer install the pin stripes with Mini logo?

Thanks! It was a blast to get together, I was real nervous that day, actually. We threw a surprise birthday party for her, so she got surprised at the door when we showed up at my parents' house (that's my father with the camera in his hand)... about twetny minutes after we had arrived I ran over and got the new car... pulled it up and rang the door bell. Classic. She was crying when she drove it for the first time!

She was previously driving a 2001 Hyundai Elantra before, too, so this is HUGE for her (a Geo Metro before that!).

Hm... come to think of it I never thought about it... I thought they were stock, but now looking back I think I do remmeber them on the contract saying they did it for free...

Braman Motors in West Palm Beach, FL. I first went to Ferman MINI of Tampa Bay but they charged a $500 dealer profit charge and would not budge whatsoever.

Braman gave me "free vehicle protection package" whatever that is, but also floor mats and those stripes for free. AND NO $500 rip off!
