Here's another one from that same shoot. Both images are clickable to get a higher resolution version.

FWIW, the color in the first picture is a bit over saturated.

Gotta love it! My 03' DS/W "S" is nice, but the orange REALLY is one fine looking MINI. I hope they produce the orange in a hardtop, but they probably will not. I've even considerd having my car repainted with a white roof and an orange kist signature on it. But I most likely would drop the value of the car by changing the color! You sure have one fine looking MINI!

I'll second that

I really like that MINI, what a good color. I just need to convince my wife that I really really really need another MINI.

I don't own the Cabrio, I was just provided with access to it and given the opportunity to drive/photograph it. It was a hellofalot of fun to drive around with the top down.

I'm with you. I'd love to see hot orange offered in the hard top.

I first saw the orange color when I pulled up to the dealer the day they first got the '05's and they had one sitting there. I had thought at first that it was a new color for any car and had already changed my mind from red to orange. I was really upset to hear that it was only available on the covertibles

Miniusa should dump gold for orange for all MC's and MCS's in 2006.

None of the pics in this thread, so far, are showing the true color. I saw the orange cabrio at the Dragon in May, and it is much pearlier-looking, has more white in it, than these pics are indicating. It's kind of a candy color. I would have preferred a more burnt-orange shade for the MINI.

This was my best attempt to reference the Hot Orange color - against "known" Chili Red ...

DiD/Retroom...............That's EXACTLY what I want .....with the boot latches and all....Soooooooooooooo, how much do you think I would de-value my DS/W "S" by getting it painted???? I really LIKE that car and color combo!

Doh! I left the boot chrome hinges on there. Mechanically I think I just sealed the boot with hinges. It can't be hinged both top and bottom.

Oops.

I do like the way it looks though. Maybe MINI should redesign the hatch and make it a lift gate instead.
