R50/53 Fun with Photoshop!
Fun with Photoshop!
I was bored tonight so I decided to fool around in photoshop with some pics of my car from the dragon. Thanks to killboy.com for the photos!
Anyone else done any goofing off in photoshop - Mini style?

You mean Austin Powers? Spent 120+ hours painting/sanding/buffing it on.
I have access to a really good painting facility that I can use for free... the same paint job would cost the average person $4,000 or so. Gotta be dedicated.

My preference leans towards to photoshopped images that don't look it.
The last two posters include images that fit this.
That CR with the "modified" scoop is great due to it's focus on the MINI's bonnet while the pix with the Indi Blue are cool because of their final composition.
. . . my 2 bucks

I wouldn't reccommend getting the stripes done in a decal. The compound curves on these cars would make them next to impossible to apply - then you have the problem of the stripes being made of printed vinyl, so they won't be glossy - and they will start to fall apart over time. Paint lasts a lot longer, and in the long run is probably cheaper.

Actually, it would be fairly easy to overcome the curves...you just have to use a hairdryer. I did custom stripes on mine, and ended up putting them over the most complex part of the hood
with some patience and a hairdryer you can do it. In terms of glossy, i can see myself in my stripes and i didnt even get the glossy versions
Very cool pix. I'm so surprised I have not seen you on the road. I live and work in the Akron area as well and do a lot of highway driving on 77 and 76 to get to work. If you ever see a gal with long, dark curly hair driving an IB/W '04 MCS, well, that's me!
