ok so I've been looking for an answer and I'm probably just dumb but i have been unable to find it. i have the factory hid option on my 2005 mini S. problem is the lenses are a lovely shade of yellow that will not clean and i am trying to make the car look a little more presentable. that being said I don't want to spend the 600$ a side for factory replacements, and instead i would like to use these. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-helix-pa...ini01hl-b~hlx/
does anyone know how to do a swap and if i need anything specifically.
thanks so much in advance!!!
I've restored a handful of yellow lights. They may not go back to 100% crystal clear; but they will be more than presentable and I think you'll be pleased with the results.
Potato quality pictures, but you get the idea: Before After
Yep we are still waiting for them to come in, they have been on BO for a while. The factories in Taiwan closed/down temporary. So it hurts most all aftermarket lighting unless its like Hella, PIAA, MM, or AL lighting which are OE and most made in Europe.
You can use some headlight restore stuff we sell, works great, just have to do it once a year.
