Sprintec SC/Adrian Tune/ Dyno Tune

Hey guys. Right now I feel like I have hit max with "Bolt On" upgrades such as JCW 380cc Injectors; 2.5" Alta Cat Back Exhaust; 17% Alta SC Pulley Reduction; 2% Alta Crankshaft Pulley Reduction; MSD Coils and Wires; Alta Cold Air Intake; Racing Dynamics Intercooler; Short-throwshifter; BKR7EQUP Spark plugs. And I am also about to install Racing Dynamics Exhaust Headers with no sport cat. I do not think I am planning on getting any other mechanical parts such as a new head or cam. So I have been reading on NAM and watching vids of minis on yt and reading their specs and they have all these tunes on them. I've always wanted to dyno tune my mini before all the upgrades I did on it because I did not do all the upgrades. My uncle did half of the upgrades while I did the other half (he gave me the car). At the moment, there are about 3 options I am planning on doing to the mini for the time being at least; 1. Sprintex Supercharger, 2. The 220hsp Adrian tune, 3. Getting a Dyno tune. I dont know why I put the sprintex sc but I just wanted to hear what you guys think about the sc and stuff so let me know which type of upgrade I should do.
Thanks!

This may not be a popular opinion, but unless you're tracking the car, you'll never find nirvana .
At some point there's only so much you can get out of any engine. You have to ask yourself how much $$ you want to put into this. I chased this for along time thinking about what's next, what mod can I make, what part can I buy.
Then I came to a moment of clarity. Now I'm happy to drive mine with the upgrades I have and be happy with the power and handling it gives me. Besides; I spend enough time doing preventative maintenance to keep me happy wrenching .

Good luck with whatever you choose to do!

Huh. So you didn't tune for the 380s? How do your fuel trims look?

Also, have you considered brakes and suspension?

+1 on the Adrian tune (mine has one). A dyno tune will cost you twice as much for no appreciable gain over Adrian's. And, just so you know, your Alta crankshaft pulley is a 2% enlargement, not reduction. The enlargement makes your 17% smaller S/C pulley spin faster and enhances boost.

No I have not tuned the 380's. Do you know how I can get a tune for the injectors because I did not feel a jump in power only the car running a lot smoother?
I have heard other r53 owners upgrading their calipers to what I think the r56 caliper or something I dont remember? It has the sport suspension from Mini. I dont know what "sport suspension" is its just that my uncle which is who gave me the r53 told me he got the sport suspension so I do not know.

Ok I see. I only considered getting a dyno tune only cause I want to know how much hsp my mini has. I also do not like the fact that his tune is not really personalized fro my car due to the fact that he is not literally working on my car. So while there may be room for potential power to arise, his tune will not be able to give me that power which is why I feel better with dyno tune. And thanks with the crank pulley. Enlargement, not reduction. Got it!
Thanks.
