Crank but no start - after full swap

After recent engine swap I am experiencing a crank but no start condition. When I say 'swap', this has been a full electrical+engine+trans swap, that includes all control modules. So basically taking the guts from one 'running' R53 'S' and inserting into a nicer shell.
Specifics are; Cranking is occuring at which time I see the tach inch up a smidge, so I take it that crank sensor and computer are working. Verified that there is good fuel pressure to the fuel rail (~50 lbs). Verified (using inline spark tester) that all plugs are getting spark. All cylinders have good even compression (~160). Using test light have verified the two wires to each fuel injector (one wire providing constant power source, the other is cycling on/off as I crank the engine. Have not gotten around look into air but don't expect this to be a problem. So the basic requirements to get an engine to fire appear to be there. What am I missing, or what else should I check?

Since the car has not started since the swap, attempt to read OBD codes producing nothing. But considering getting a better tool or INPA scanner software to get a better read into car systems. Specifically if there is a code that may indicate that the DME and EWS needs to be aligned.

For grins this is the history - now retired and thought a good car project would keep me busy. I would have to say this is a success. Basically picked up a very clean 02 non-S with a blown CVL, and then good running 05 'S' with 6-speed that was wrecked. So why not try swapping literally everything off the 05 and into the 02 body. May not be the best choice, but hey it's what presented itself and I'm learning a lot. As well as increasing my tool collection in the process, so win-win .

Line purge?
Give it a squirt and eliminate fuel or spark. See if it runs on a mustard bottle.

Remove fuel rail from Intake manifold , injectors mounted on it and try to crank engine. Will see if injectors work or not.Must see injectors spray.Maybe just need to clean or replace injectors.Be careful not catch on fire.
