06 Mini Cooper S R53 no start fixed

My son's R53 would not start. Cranks fine, battery appeared to be good. I saw spark and I pulled the injector rail and saw fuel spray from the injectors. Pulled the camshaft sensor and crank sensor and replaced them, still no luck and I put the old ones back in. I ended up scanning it and the EWS locked up.It was out of sync. Reprogrammed the car and EWS is back in Sync and still no start. Checked the DME relay all fuses, no issues noted. Checked and cleaned ground on DME and the ground on block appeared to be in bad shape. Replaced ground wire. Still no start. It seemed like the timing was off. At 85K I replaced the chain, guides, tensioner, front seal and all of the gaskets, The car has 259K miles on it now. l checked compression had compression in all cylinders, spark, and fuel. (Had 55 PSI.) Checked everything and found a wire in bad shape for the MAP sensor, cut and resoldered. Still no start, but the manifold pressure was stable now. I put the mini back into service mode and replaced the crank sensor and camshaft sensor. Fired up......I guess i had it fixed earlier, but the EWS was locked it up. The EWS out of sync still allowed the car to crank, but it would not fire. Just a FYI for the no starts.

I'm having a similar problem with the EWS. INPA lets me do everything except resync the Immobilizer. When I go to resync, it says that it was successful, yet when I check my scanner, it says the Engine is disabled and the Immobilizer is enabled, still scratching my head. Which version of INPA are you using. When I go to Version, mine says Version 5.00. Do you have a newer version?

Recently did an inpa thread. Thinks it’s a newer version. Maybe the latest for our cars
