So guys need some help

Was driving around town when the car s
lost half its power no go whats so ever as i was heading back home it slowly idled down and died. I got the error code for the cam shaft sensor. I replaced but still no start i have checked spark plugs fuel pump fuel pressure opened up to take a look at cam chain all good still no start i,m at my wits end what else could be wrong and how to check for issues please any help

 

What sort of codes is it throwing now?


I wonder if you had a critter get into your engine bay and nibble on your wiring harness.

p0340 Cam shaft sensor just like before i have a replacement coming for the new one i bought hopefully the first one they sold me was bad. i am re checking the wires today

 

So reading some more threads and someone mentioned the crank shaft sensor getting the same code? could it be i need to change the crank shaft sensor as well?

 

replaced cam sensor again today same result did the test and it is reading the cam turning but the car still will not start

 

only one wire?<br/>

 

the above photo is my hail Mary i found this connector by the oil filter with only one blue wire from it could this be the cause of all my issues?

 

Did you ever figure this out. My 03 s with mods won’t start either. Cranks just fine but won’t fire. Only code I have is for the cam sensor. I really need my car back in the road.
