rebuild started but died and now it doesn't want to start
I got my 2009 mini cooper s rebuild done and got it started. I drove it 45 miles and then the throttle just cut out on me and died. Right now the starter isn't functional so I have just been pop starting it. It won't even pop start anymore. I can see the rpm's come up but throttle is unresponsive. I look at the live data and it looks like the throttle is engaging but no start. Fuel pressure looks good and I am getting compression. Any ideas what to look at? I have timed the engine again just to be sure and it is now in time.
if the battery is weak and you have a dying alternator, you might have these results you're referring to.
how is the voltage/battery? did you check your grounds specially the one on the left (looking at the engine from outside)?
where you located?

I live in Orem, UT, I took it to a euro shop not to far from where I live. The car was throwing a crankshaft position sensor code but I pulled the sensor out and it looked fine. All cylinders have compression the last thing I can think of is a problem with the wire for that sensor
My r52 base convertible 2006 got an p0341 errors afte got overheated, then stop running, it was the head gasket plus the Head valve. I’m still working on the engine btw there was no compression accros the pistons!
