WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL INDI BLUE OWNERS THREAD (because calling it a club seems a bit catty)!

This is a continuation of the long-discontinued thread for Indi Blue MINIs from 2002 to 2004 (R50's, R52's, R53's) when the color was discontinued. This thread will respect original members of the other thread if they pop in, post a current photo, and still own their IB car. Original members will have their original number (with no prefix) and new members will get a double 'aught prefix (001, 002, etc). If you have a build thread, put the link in your post and I will add a link to that right up here at the top.

Just post to join, upload a photo, tell us about your car, tell a story, or whatever you feel, and you will be added to the list of Indi Blue owners out there!

Original owner from way back in 2003. Currently undergoing a slow, methodical restoration and remodification. Head gasket blew a few years back (around 2015) and it sat for a few years until I could get back to it. Have done all recent work myself. I am on my second Borla 'race' exhaust - the first was replaced by Borla under their 1,000,000 mile warranty as it had essentially rotted out. Car was picked up from Keeler in Albany in 2003 and lived in western MA until 2009 when I moved to CA to pursue my PhD. The Mini loved SoCal - and so did I - we lived there for 5 years until the PhD was finished and I landed a job at a university in ND, and we've been here ever since. My restomod thread that details all of the stuff I have been doing and have yet to do can be found here - there is a lot in there, and I have done some pretty unique things, so check it out!
