I'm #3! I wonder how many people from the original club/thread still post here or even have their cars anymore? I'm on my second Hyper Blue MINI. It's a great color!

I'm still all for a badge! I started posing this question since the activity appeared to be a bit low on our thread. I'm not an admin, moderator, or "owner" of this thread so I'm guessing that I have no authority to make the "final call" on the badge. I'm guessing we would ask drink8648 if he/she could go about getting a badge for all of us. Thoughts???

I just bought my MCS in January 2011 so I have no idea where to start when getting a badge for us. If any of you on the thread have ideas about how to get a badge made for our group, shout out!

Thanks for the votes everyone! I'm an avid MINI fan (especially Hyper Blue) just like everyone else! I just want to see our thread take off better and for the Hyper Blue folks to stick together!

 

It is essentially just a round magnet...if I am not mistaken.

It would have been nice if the design of the badge holders were two parts. 1) the actual holder that connects tot he grille 2) a clear cover that clips on top of the face of the holder. That way you could just print it out and not bother with ordering one. Just my 2 cents.

 

Now that sounds like a plan! One would think that there would be something like that somewhere. Looks like a have a new project to start on!

If any of you find something like that, shout out! If I find something like that, I'll be sure and let everyone know or post a link.

In the meantime, any thoughts on how we could go about getting an actual badge made for our MINIs? Now, I'm wishing I knew a bit more about how things are done (i.e. getting a badge made) when I raised the question. But still....at least the want/urge for a badge is strong...guess it never would have happened if I didn't raise the question.

 

I guess I'm not alone in my choice of Hyper Blue? I always thought red dominated, but I see there's a few blue MINIs out there. Too bad they discontinued the color. It's a refreshing color for me since all the rigs we have at work are red.

 

Love the pic! I have to ask...where does the MINI come up to the rig at? Looks about tire height or maybe a shade above.

 

I think the MINI's roof sits a bit higher than the tires. I've never really measured it. Also, I'm not sure why I'm not receiving instant notifications after someone posted after me. Weird... Good thing I looked back on my previous post.

 

Just an FYI about my involvement here. I volunteered to maintain this thread and that's about all I have time and inclination to do. In regards to a badge, there some sites on here that seem to make these but again I do not have the time to do the research. Please feel free to take on the task of creating one and have them made if you can get enough to participate. I would not be in, not much into them.
