CCM Not Ready - Resolution

I'm posting this because I had the issue but couldn't find much definitive info on it except buried a thread in Stock Problems/Issues. I hope this can help someone else like me out who was struggling to resolve the CCM Not Ready issue when the car had zero codes and was running great. I needed an emissions test to renew my registration but I had a CCM Not Ready that would not clear after many (500+) miles, multiple drive cycles and ECM resets. I had no codes and the car was running great. I found a thread in the Stock Problems/Issues forum where engine temperature was mentioned as a cause for CCM Not Ready because the engine was not running up to the engineered 195° (90.5c). I threw my scanner on and the live data was showing the cars coolant temp fluctuating between 185°-190°, bingo! The thermostat in the car was a stock 90.5c but apparently was not functioning at the correct temperature so I put in a new thermostat and the car ran up to 195°-199°. Three to five cold starts to operating temperature later and the CCM Not Ready cleared and I passed emissions.
