jello. Did my install today thought I’d share the process since i can’t find anything online.
First the bar can only go one way. Longer on the bottom. Hardest part is trimming the rear panels. If you want to keep them on. Other than that it’s pretty simple.
1. Remove rear seats.
2. Remove rear panels. ( lots online on how to do this )
3. You’ll find a hole on each side. Drill out to 11mm
4. There’s a screw slot on the bottom, drill out to 13mm
5. Use riv nut tool if you have one. If not the K Brace comes with Nut and Bolt to crimp the riv nut.
6. Install the U brackets. But DO NOT TIGHTEN all the way.
7. Test fit the K-brace. ( it sill be snug )
8. Tape / Mark the U brackets after you bolt the K-brace.
9. Remove the K-Brace. Tighten up the bolts for the U brackets.
10. Trim the rear panels. I used a circular drill saw.
I was thinking of getting this for our F56, how long was the wait time till you received your brace?
I bought the one from Stern Performance and was not that impressed with the mounting of the bar. The net is wonderful and I'm hoping I can reuse it with this K-bar brace.

Those most recent pics look great!
it was pretty quick. Takes 2 weeks or 21 days. I told them i needed it for the show. And it was a miracle that it arrived 1 day before. So had to install it when it arrived. They promised it’ll arrive before the 21st snd it did.
The net looks great. But i don’t think it’ll match the K Brace. It’ll cover the angled bars.
I think that bar looks good, but I question its effectiveness with only a single rivnut at each of the body connection points. Notice any difference while driving?

Mig yes it does. I thought my car was stiff already before i installed it. It’s a really really tight install too. Can’t just put the at in and put the bolts straight through.
