Loud Squeak Noise and Rubbing When Turning
Whenever I first start up my car and take the tight turn onto my street I always hear a loud squeak noise coming from the front of the car (sounds like my car is letting out a fart lol). It only seems to happen after turning on the car and taking a tight turn at low speed though. I also consistently hear a rubbing sound when doing tight turns at low speeds. I have 18' wheels but I'm pretty sure they don't rub. My only hypothesis now are bad wheel bearings, bad tires, or a power steering pump...
My ‘05 Mini does that and I think it is the strut top touching the tower. I think I replaced the strut bearing and noticed how close the strut is to the red plate I installed to fix the bulging of the tower. It does go away with driving so maybe there is a warming up function such as a bushing that gets tight when parked and relaxes when cycling during a drive. Maybe.
