I am surprising my wife with an 05 HB/W MCS, picked it up from Braman Motors in West Palm Beach yesterday, drove it up 200 miles to Tampa... I'm surprising her on 1/9/05 so I wont' be driving it until then, its parked at a neighbor's driveway.
But WOW that car is so much fun. I can totally see why the break-in period is hard to wait for... but its going to be worth it. Even at half throttle the car really has some power. I'm pleasantly surprised that the ride isn't that rough, I was worried it'd be too stiff... I have the prem and sport package and was worred about the ride but its fine.
Glad to finally join the MINI community!

Wow looks great, my HB/B will be born early to mid Feb, I do not know how you can stand the suspense of having the car already in your possesion and not being able to drive it!!! Congrats!

Come on DrQuinn... you don't have to wait until the 9th! Just sneak out in the middle of the night, drive a couple hundred fun miles, then sneak back in! She'll never suspect a thing... in fact you'd be doing it for her, getting through some of the break in and getting yourself used to the car for safty's sake!

Thanks for posting the pictures. That's the color combo I am getting. It's nice to see pictures of "my" car in advance. I was beginning to have doubts about Hyper Blue but it really looks good.

The pic inside the dealer is my favorite, its a little darker. For some reason the HB doesn't photo well, it looks lighter in the photos than in real life. Its a beautiful combo, you're going to love it MrV! I will post pics of my wife as she first sees the car. The dealer gave me a big gold bow to put on top of the car, its going to be awesome. i wish Jan 9th would hurry up.
