Cold = Bad Driver's Window Noise? Anyone else?

The drop thing seems to work fine after 4 days of 15 degree weather.

But now the driver's window is making an awful "ratcheting" sound (like it is off a track?) going up using the switch from any window position. It is quiet going down.

So. Wait for the warm weather, or call the dealer for my 7th visit in 9,400 miles? Advice cheerfully taken.

regards,
Red

I know you don't want to hear this, but a call to the dealer would be a good idea.If it is cold related and you wait for it to warm up,they may not be able to recreate the noise. Also not a good idea to put off any warrenty issues. They may say you waited to long and did more damage.

Guess you are right. Back to the dealer after giving it a couple of days. Just want to make sure it is not intermitent, then I am really wasting my time.

Waiting too long does not make it your fault IMHO though, unless you ran out of oil!

Thanks.
