My Mini was showing up on the WW site yesterday, with a status of "Received on Terminal". But today i cannot see any information regarding my car,. When i enter the VIIN # and hit the TRACK button it comes up with "No tracking information is available for the Cargo ID you entered". Has this happend to anybody?. BTW my Mini finished production on the 14th of DEC and i ordered the car from MIni Center San Antonio, TX.

ur car has been moved from WW to a different carrier...

u'll need to call your MA after Tuesday and ask them to look up the information...get the carrier and the 'bill of laden' number from them...then call that carrier and give them the number and they can tell u what ship and when it's expected....

 

Or you got bumped from that voyage and your car will show up on another WW voyage when it gets booked onto another ship.

The same thing happened to me today too. It was fine yesterday and the ship sailed and today, I can't find my Mini anywhere....


BTW, I'm new here, didn't plan to post until my Mini was here and I could take it for a ride, but I just had to comment on this post.

I have been playing in the WW tracking site. You can no longer enter your last 7 seven numbers of the VIN, you must enter the whole VIN. Give it a try. If someone get the BOL for the MANON and MINIs going to So CA please post it. I have not found it yet but I am trying.

True, but that isn't the problem. The problem is that the car was showing up as booked onto a WW vessel yesterday, but today doesn't show up. My guess is that the car was bumped from the voyage it was booked on the previous day, and hasn't been rebooked on another later voyage. I think the key to having your car show up (with the full VIN) on WW's site is that it is actually allocated to a vessel. My car showed up on WW's site on the 16th allocated to the Patriot sailing on 12/16, and it showed as being scanned into the receiving area on 12/8. Now the Patriot has sailed and I am back to getting no info for the VIN you have entered. When I ran the list of VIN's for the entire booking and found mine in the list, it had an asterisk next to it with no explanation. Now when I run the entire list, no Mini. My theory now is that it meant my car and the others with asterisks were 'on standby' and may or may not be loaded. In my case, my car didn't make it, and I assume my VIN will work again when it gets allocated to another vessel.

star means wait list, or standyby...

hopefully u just got moved to k-line, and u may be sailing sooner than the next WW vessel...ur best bet if it doesn't show up is to just call ur MA, but u have to wait until Tuesday, when their computer gets updated..

How do you get a list of VIN's? We where booked on the same ship. I'm just curious if mine has an * or if it disappeared.

Actuall i noticed a lot of Mini VIN #'s had asterisk and did not know what they meant. But mine did not have asterisk, so maybe the asterisk means something else. In fact i still have the list of all the cars on patroit from yesterday and i looked at it today to make sure that it did not have a asterisk.

cra_bigal : go to WW site and do a track by booking # and enter the booking number as GBSOU277996 and you will be able to see all the VIN #, search for yours.

 

My VIN isn't there. That's very sad. I guess I got bumped. I won't get any info from my MA, she said she hasn't been able to figure that stuff out. I guess I can try and be patient until the 27th and then give her a call and hope they know something at that time. She was pretty confident that it will be in the US by then.

I hope I don't get on a K-Line vessel. They have a ship leaving Southampton on 12/17, but it doesn't get to Newark until 1/11. No stop in Charleston. WW has the Tristan leaving for NY and SC on the 17th as well. Hopefully my car will make that sailing.

Has anyone been able to decode the logic of the booking number. I figure that GB = Great Britain SOU = Southampton, XXXXXX = ??? a sequential number???

If I wanted too see what cars came over on the Liberty (already into and left Baltimore) what letters would I use? I saw all the cars on the Patriot. I'm waiting for Charleston. Think it would be interesting too see all of my Mini's brothers and sisters that she rode over with.

When you enter your VIN # on the WW site and hit the TRACK button, you will be able to see a booking number, copy that and do a track by booking # and enter the booking # and hit track and you will be able to see all VIN #'s of the cars on board of that ship.

Does anybody know which port the the Mini's are shipped to, if you order it in San Antonio,TX. I hope they are not shipped to the West Coast

Any news on yours yet? Ours got bumped off the Patriot last week.

 

Nothing yet . I callled my MA today and even she has no further information.

 

Mine got bumped from the Patriot as well. I'm hoping that my car is on the Tristan - the next ship that left Southampton after the Patriot. So far I haven't been able to figure out what the booking number is for the Tristan. Anyone booked for the Tristan? I've found the Freedom (GBSOU277997) and the Figaro (GBSOU278006) that sail after the Tristan and my VIN isn't on either one.
