R50/53 No Power Over 17 PSI
No Power Over 17 PSI
So, I just replaced my supercharger pulley with a 15% reduced pulley with a +2% ATI Crank pulley. I got NGK BKR8EIX sparks plugs and a 1360mm serpentine belt to complement these upgrades. I have noticed that I have no power of 17 PSI of boost. Looking at the calculated boost on my Bluetooth OBD-II. This is usually around 4000 RPM. I have a code P0108, which is relating to the MAP sensor. I ordered a new one and installed it today and I am still having this issue. Is my ECU limiting power to protect the engine?
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

I did a search and found this...

Let me know how it goes. I’m waiting for all those parts myself. I’ve already had a couple moments of falling flat with my catless headers. I wonder if the issue will arise for me as well.
good luck!

I only replaced the MAP sensor on the intake manifold. The one one the thermostat housing looked pretty much brand new when I pulled it out. I do have a P1498 code, which is unmetered air after the compressor. Could that be caused by a vacuum leak?
So, turns out it was an easy and cheap fix. I noticed the vacuum hose on the intake manifold had popped off from the increase in pressure. So I picked up some vacuum fittings and replaced all the ones I could see. I also put a hose clamp on the one that had popped off to make sure it didn't happen again. I am able to rev over 4k, the P1498 code hasn't popped up, and the engine seems to be running much smoother!
