Not Such A good for Golden Girl

My MINI was damaged last week because of a out of town low life with no car insurance. It was a 5 car accident and lucky for me I was the last part of the mess. A guy in a Cadillac run a red light and got "T" boned then got the party started and the 4TH car caught the front bumper of Golden Girl. The guy that started this mess had no car insurance and I have a policy with a carrier of only low risk drivers and will be fixing my own car. If anyone can find me a nice complete front bumper cover for my 2003 R50 let me know, I also posted a listing in the WTB part of our forum, thanks you all your the best!! AL.

That looks like the 2005+ updated version but is probably fine since all of the trim is included. The chrome trim is slightly different though.

I figured the trim being different, just like to get an idea if the trim line up matches the Base Model grill and if the sides where the reflector go line up with the hood.

2003 R50 Front Bumper

Did some more home work and looks like this bumper was used on the Base model MINI and this picture is a Base model. Has anyone installed this style bumper on a Base MINI?

The upper hood is unchanged, so the lower grille and trim will line up.

" I have a policy with a carrier of only low risk drivers"

What does this mean? I've only seen a couple options, comp, collision, uninsured

Okay, let me break this down for you. The person I'm in reference to drove to Maryland with no car insurance and ran a red light a totaled 4 cars. Are you defending this? Grow up? I'm 62 with over 40 year driving with a "A" Commercial drivers license. This post does not belong here, this is about fixing a MINI.

This means not the different insurance options, this means different insurance companies. Some insurance companies will cover anyone like "The General" and you will pay for it! Other companies like Erie have low rates and insure low risk drivers, this keeps there rates low. This is the second post that should not be here, this post is to fix a MINI! I"m trying to find a nice front bumper cover my 2003 MINI.

I still don't understand why won't your insurance cover it?

They will cover it but my insurance company winds up paying the claim, true my rates will not go up but it does change my insurance score,. insurance companies are like lending companies and score there risks. I have thru the very long term have kept my rates down by safe driving and not making a claim unless it is necessary.

Perhaps you do have a point, but when I get a phone call late at night with my daughter crying about a auto accident a find out the details this does temporarily changes my demeanor, after all we are all human, AL.
