Trying to find my old R53

I once owned a 2005 BRG Cooper S. I traded the car in early 2010 but no longer can find the VIN. Kind of curious what happened to it and if it’s still out there on the roads. Any suggestions?

Your insurance company might have the VIN.

Some old insurance documents will/should have the VIN.

I once googled the VIN of my R56 and found a picture of the engine for sale from a salvage place. It was like searching for an old friend and finding their obituary.
