done with maintenance and mods, for now...

After purchasing the car almost 3 month ago, the only thing that wasn't addressed on this car was the supercharger maintenance. We took the time to do it with a total time of being down and on floor jacks for almost 3 weeks (we have other cars in the stable) but did some upgrades as well. Here is a list of what was done during this time;

Supercharger maintenance (seals, gaskets, oil, etc...)
Oil and filter change
Dipstick o-ring
crank sensor o-ring
coolant flush
Water pump
Thermostat
Thermostat housing
New belt
Megan racing Euro Street II Coil-overs
JCW Aero hood grille
JCW Aero bumper grille (that one required a lot of modification and some painting to get fitted on the stock bumper)
Out Motoring V3 light brackets (2 sets)
Hella 500 Black Magic Series driving lights (2 sets)
Full 3 stage detailing on the exterior as well.

I might be forgetting a couple little things but i think that's it! Next and during the winter months, we are going to do a chrome delete as well as a stripe on the car and we are refinishing a set of old wheels as well. Pictures below are from the top one being the day we purchased it to now!

Finishing up just about the same process. Your's looks great and I'm sure it will appreciate all the attention and won't throw a code for "years"!
Nice Job!
robj

p.s. Love the color and the "stealth" look.
p.p.s. Is that a VW engine hiding on the back bench?

Haha no just preventive maintenance. The supercharger was surprisingly not that bad and still had some oil on both sides, but man does that used oil stinks, pretty disgusting lol.

So far i am liking those Megan coilovers for sure, it handles really well and wants to dig and grab in the corner a lot better, and many adjustments possibilities for sure. The only down point at this time i would have is that it is definitely stiffer, despite the adjustments, but it is to be expected with coil-overs and going lower but i like the go cart feel with this car! For the price point, i would say they are a pretty good upgrade in my opinion, and perfect for the weekend warrior for track or play and still be able to daily without issues.
