So I bought a 2004 Cooper S three weeks ago now. Loving it, definitely my favorite car I've ever owned so far. When I purchased the car, the previous owner included a second supercharger. He said he pulled it off another Mini Cooper and was going to build this one up. I think that in 2005 and 2006 the superchargers in these cars were upgraded a bit to push out more boost/horsepower. Included are the pictures of the supercharger (it's very dirty) but does anyone know what this supercharger came off of? Or anything about these superchargers at all? It looks like it says 18/02/02. Does that mean this supercharger was made March 18, 2002?

March is the 3rd month...so I would say this supercharger was made in February.....at least looking at the numbers.....

The JCW superchargers were driven by a smaller pulley to spin it faster to make more horsepower....also the JCW rotors inside were Teflon coated.

I am going to say that this is just a normal S supercharger, nothing special....but hang on to it just in case
