My MCS was received at the terminal on 11/27 and was booked on the MAERSK WIND. I was so happy. It never got loaded, and the wind blew away without my MCS on board. Then, the tracking site said that I was booked on the JINGU MARU. I'd have to wait anoter 4 days for my baby, but I was still pretty happy. NOW, the JINGU MARU left today and the site says my baby is still in "Waitlist Status." My MCS wasn't built to sit and wait. It needs to get moving! Has this happened to others? And how long did it last? I can't stand waiting any longer!! :evil:

Seriously though this is horrible that this has happened to you. Would 866-ask-mini be of any assistance to your cause?

I was bumped. That was back in August. Everyone was getting bumped once or twice :smile: I'd worry more about getting a smooth transition out of the VPC. Any hold-ups there, and it's real nail-bitin' time!

 

Same thing happened to me. Booked on Jingu Maru, then Maersk Wind, then Jingu Maru AGAIN. I missed both. Still on wait list. At least our MINI's have company.

Well they ordered me two MINIs by accident and the first one was bumped like 3 times. The second got right on the boat and made it to me first.

Yup same production date. I'm trying to wait patiently. Get out cars on the ship!!!!!

 

Oh Mandy and SkAlex.......I am so so sorry that you both are waiting. You are my "same production week" buddies. Our MINIs all rolled out together. Don't know how or why they let mine board the Don Juan on 11/24. It doesn't seem fair. All I can think/hope is that some little birdie told the MINI shippers that my birthday is 12/10 and they are trying hard to bring me my MINI in time. Is a XMAS delivery still possible for both of you?

 

It's a possiblity for me. I'm in a NY suburb, so depending on the time spent at VPC, I might be able to get my MCS as soon as 3-4 days after the ship lands in NY. (hopefully )

 

It's cutting close for me but still a possibility if they ship it soon. Mine will be sent to NY too but trucked over to MD, about 5 hours away. We'll see. I'm trying to be optimistic.

 

I called ASK MINI and I am on the Jingu Maru!! Amanda said it should arrive on 12/11. I guess the WW site is just messed up!! Skalex, call and check. You are probably on too!
