MCS, Pure silver up and down, black leather , premium pkg. cold pkg, alarm. waited 5 days!!!!!!!!! I was in the right place at the right time!!!! No problems, great car! Had a sore back for the first week, due to the great acceleration!

 

My MCS is Dark silver body & roof. I got soooo many compliments from the staff at the dealership where I got her. They never seen that before mine came in. And even when I went to pick it up, it was there in the showroom with other customers and onlookers passing through oogling at my MCS, commenting on how much cleaner it looks with a body colored roof. The only color I'd get a white roof would be Indi Blue. I love the choice I made even thought I never saw a monotone color prior to ordering. Took the chance and it worked out and looks great.

same roof color kind of defeats the classic look....John Cooper wanted the contrast roof so the mini would be easier to spot on the track....I wanted the classic look, but do think that all the colors look nice except all white....just me..

 

Madge is all pure silver... i agree less is more! everyone thinks she is the prettiest thing they have ever seen

 

I have EB/EB too . It's sitting at PVC and hoping for delivery by Long Beach Mini this weekend .

Robert, that all Indi blue 'S' is sweet dude. When I ordered my MCS I was deciding on an all Indi blue 'S' or a Dark Silver 'S'. But being that the Indi wasn't available in the 'S' model at the time, I took the next choice. But man, that really is snazzy. Good choice.
As far as the 'classic' look goes, I'm not worried about that. Go with whatever ya like. Didn't think the history of the Mini should dictate what should look good for the car. The white roof on most colors takes away from the rest of the car. Almost like it doesn't belong or is unfinished.
