Is this the stock supercharger pulley?!?

Hello everyone, new to posting on forums! I recently bought a 2004 Mini Cooper S and started looking into upgrades that could be done to the car and have been really interested in the 15% reduction on the pulley. When i went to look at the pulley on my car i noticed it didn't look stock and was hoping someone would know it its the stock puller or if it been upgraded. Also wondering, if it has been upgraded, would running stock spark plugs to anything to the ride quality or hurt the car by doing so? Thank you so much and hope everyone has a good one!

*couldn't get a good angle but hope this picture is enough

No that is not stock. Looks like it is already a 15% pulley so you just saved $100.

Yes you need the colder heat range plugs

Also want to have the correct belt

Would running the stock spark plugs effect the car in any way? Rough idle or anything?

No the colder plugs as recommended above helps to keep the combustion temperature down to help keep detonation to a minimum. Heat is transmitted into the cylinder head, then into the coolant faster than with the original plugs. This is a good thing.
"Stock" spark plugs run slightly hotter and will help "promote" detonation...which is a bad thing !

This practice is not reserved for supercharged or nitrous oxide injected engines only. I run colder spark plugs in my early American car engines for exactly the same reason. Ignition timing makes power, colder spark plugs go a long way toward helping that situation.

The cars still run ok with the stock plugs. But yes they are to fight the higher cylinder pressure and temps. The biggest thing we find is when we have to remove a head on a car and find it had stock plugs and had a pulley we find hairline cracks coming from the spark plug threads. When cars had cold heat range this doesn't usually happen. So just for that fact alone I would run the cold heat range.

I see, thank you guys for the information, don’t know how long the stock plugs have been used but I’ll make sure to get the right ones ASAP! Thanks for the tips!

I would recommend the Platinum as they will last much longer and be more reliable. The Iridiums wear out much faster and also seem to come loose more often.
