After much thought we have decided to name our Mini Rocco. Just curious of some of the other names out there!

I don't think the plates and the name are necessarily related!

I had thought to name him GIR, after the robot on Invader Zim, and still think of him as such, but after a few weeks, I found that his REAL name is "Queen Anne's Revenge."

Fitting, I think. I need a Jolly Roger for the roof.

I was going to name her PiP for Pepper White, but deep down, she was a Gidget.

Well I was thinking "Duke" because he's regal, he's british and I bought him in TN (Duke's of Hazard). But then I got his plates: ZEK ###. That's when I knew. He's my Zeek.

I know, it's not original, but I named my MINI, "MINI". I just love the name MINI so much that we call him MINI all of the time! So MINI it be!

Agreed. They are definitely not!

Name: Molly
Plate: Mini2Go

greatgro, yes even though her formal name is Molly, she is frequently referred to as MINI (or The MINI) by my family. I call her Molly more than anyone.

Very first day I had a lot of problems because I was not used to driving stick. MINI was very finicky and demanding and punished me for my inexperience. I called him My Little Demon.

Two weeks later. We have both come to an understanding. Name was going to be Alucard (main character in Hellsing anime) until I discovered "he" was a "she". OK so it's MS. Alucard then.

We were driving back from the dealership after my first of four test drives and my wife said to me that this has become the Mini Matt Project.

So hence the car is now known as Mini Matt. I am still waiting for my order but at least when she is born I have a name for her.

I am designing a website for all things Mini and the web address is called surprise, surprise http://www.theminimattproject.com. I will post a new thread when my site is up. I am trying to find a host for it so hence there is no placeholder at the moment - sorry.

This is an interesting thread since I have developed a habit of naming my cars...
Chevy Corvair = Slow and Low
Nissan Truck = Crown Peter (bought at Crown Nissan in St Petersburg)
Volvo 760 Turbo = Quick Brick
Jetta TDI = Slow Mo
MINI = SUV dodger
