Location for bonnet stripes

I'm hoping to put my traditional 'V' configuration left and right bonnet stripes on tonight. Are there any location measurements to go by? Thinking about trying to do it dry unless wet is the way to go? Thanks!

OK, I put the bonnet stripes on. Came out 20-20. Looks good at 20 feet at 20MPH, so that's bad! The front bonnet curvature really gave me trouble. I'm thinking wet method may have been better.

Positionally they came out great. Just have bubbles and creasing near front contouring of hood. Going to need to redo them but definitely not the youtube dry method I used this time. Anyone have any helpful tips?

Looks good in the photo, get a few dings in it and big bug splats on them and then they will look perfect.

The only way to get really good at applying decals is to practice

Motor On!

Your spacing looks great!

OK, I have some non-OEM bonnet stripes I may try to put on with wet method this weekend and see how it goes.

OK, we ripped those stripes off because dry method is not the way to go with all the curvature in the bonnet at the front.

We installed these decals (3 per side, 1 black and 2 narrow silvers).

Wet method - no bubbles or creasing!

We like the silver better than the white edges on our car, so all's well that ends well.
