All owners with MINIs born in August are welcome to join in and make this thread fun and informative It doesn't matter which year, we'd love to have ya! Curious to see how other August built MINIs are holding up, as well as how the newbies (like mine) are faring. Again, welcome!

Damage-wise so far: One rock in windshield (at mile 1251
), my f*#kup removing the windsheild repair kit too carelessly and spewing that acid resin stuff all over my pass. bonnet stripe, melting right thru (jerry-fixed with a fine tip Sharpie), a very minor "ding" in my lower rear driver door (gravel from running too close to Jersies),and a couple small but noticeable pits in the chrome grille surround, that's it. All proud scars from motoring!

Katie was born on August 10th, picked her up September 4th. She's got 2250 miles so far and is doing pretty well.
Got 2 rock chips in the bonnet and a few dents in the front chrome. Not too bad  No complaints so far!

Born August 17. Delivered September 23rd in Texas. Ridden hard, put away wet a week later in soCal. 5,500 fun-filled miles so far. Day two took a small rock to the bumper (small gouge) which also put a small ding under the driver Xenon. Battle scar which I doubt can be easily fixed.

hey everyone! Born 8/23 here and loving every minute of it! So far the only damage has been an ego crushing front driver-side wheel scrape on the curb, very minor and can only be seen if you look closely, and one rock to the windsheild two nights ago, which I had fixed yesterday morning. Glad I got the clear bra installed.
