Opening Chrono Pack gauge?

Good morning all...

So I have an R52 with the Chrono Pack... got it last April.

I put this thread here because it's not convertible specific and I know there are more views in this sub forum..

Anyway, there is a long hair inside my gauge. I haven't tried to pull it apart so I hope it's not super easy thus making this a dumb question, but anyone have any advice how to remove the front face of the gauge easily?

The hair is not interfering with the needles but it's visible and I would prefer to get it out of there.

Thanks!

c

Start at Step 2B here: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...with-pics.html
After you pull the dash panel, the lens will be exposed enough that you can release its tabs that hold it to the gauge (no need to remove the entire gauge, but it's easy to do that if you want better access to the lens tabs).

Thanks! It references removing the painted interior panels... is this simple? I never took it apart before and would hate to crack something. I can search if its not something easily reference-able. Too bad there isn't just some way to unscrew the metal ring and lens lol. I was hoping for that. Knew it wasn't like to be that easy tho!

Just pull/pry it off. It requires a good amount of force and will feel like it might break. Can't be squeamish about it.
