Seen the kit and my AC doesn’t work anymore. So my question is does this kit free up any HP ? Anyone actually done this and can give me some insight.

We've installed several of them and even have one on the race car. If your A/C compressor isn't locked up you won't gain any power as it just spins free like the delete pulley. The big reason we remove the compressor is for weight.

Thanks for the reply. I was looking at the kit on your site that’s what made me ask. I know some cars see 5-10 HP for the removal. Thanks for the information I appreciate it.

 

LOL there wouldn't be any HP gain unless the compressor clutch was dragging because it just acts like an idler until you engage it. The weight is the big rease as a compressor is heavy
