I was waiting for the list of the MINI clubs around the Nation. Did someone not complete it. I thought that I saw someone starting that and I emailed them... they said no repsonse from people. We need to get this list going. If you have a MINI club, please email to this special email that I set up, well, not really that specail, but it will be deleted after a while... enough rambling...

We have national events... MINI Vacation in Vegas and MINIs on the Dragon for starters. Several others, like MINIs on Top are large enough to be considered national in scale...

 

Good point. I thought it would be nice to have a list of contacts for all the MINI clubs in the US... I figure that would be a great tool!!!

Rather than have them come to you, you can also do a little data mining out on the web. Search engines are great. Try a search for "Mini Club listing" or for "Mini Cooper". Once you find a site that has a few listed (such as on http://www.oregonminisociety.com or http://motoringfile.com/links/) search thru each of the listed sites for more info. Keep digging and keep track of them as you find them in an excel spreadsheet attaching contact information for each. You'd be surprised how many clubs you can find in a short amount of time. Email the contacts to tell them what you're up to and see if they have any additional you may have missed.

Another trick is to enter in a known club name and search to see how many other sites have reference to it. For example take "Mini Owners of the Rockies" and type it into Yahoo/Google. Note that there's many many site who link to MOTR. Some of them are listings of clubs that might lead you to other clubs not found. It keeps going and going. Enjoy!

 

Thanks for the info. I have already compiled a list of the main clubs... Just searching for any others that I have missed... Instead of listing them all, figured I could just sort through emails!

 

'course you could always just look at the club and event forums here on NAM... Websites for those that have them are listed with the clubs...
