Sunroof Delete Panel

Hi all,

Does anyone here have any info about aftermarket panels (steel, fiberglass or CF) to replace the sunroof assembly in an r53 ?

After recent hail damage on mine I'm considering getting rid of the sunroof.

Thanks in advance for any leads.

That's an entire roof panel. I think the OP was looking for an insert that would take the place of the sunroof cassette.

I have been thinking of this, when looking at getting another car for the track, the replacement roof panel is only about $550. plus the cost of the rail(s) I figure the total swap with paint would run about $1K. And if the old one is good you could recoup some of the cost if you sell it off.

Part Number 41317175108
Roof Bow is 41237035275

With all the hail damage I have, I think I'll just go ahead and replace the whole roof.
That is cheaper than fixing the dents and a new sunroof.

Appreciate the help.

So did anyone actually do the roof panel swap and how was it?

Have a built track car but made the mistake of doing it with a sunroof car, with the time and money invested looking at just doing the roof panel swap or having a welder weld it up.

Thanks
