Zunsport in England makes these pop-in / pop-over grille covers that require no drilling or modifications to your car. I have the stainless steel mesh version on my 2010 MCS Camden and it looks to be the same as yours as best I can judge from your photo. They also make black (anodized or powder coated versions, I can't remember which) ones. The two front grilles cost about $200 total including shipping and delivery was quick--about a week as I recall. I'm quite pleased with mine after about 1 1/2 - 2 years on the car.
Just went to m7 site, you are correct. Although that's a lot of mark up with them already priced higher once you pay shipping if orders from m7
M7 has a lot of great products but my car doesn't have a single one because their prices, I feel, are all just a bit more than I'm willing to spend for what they are.
I could be wrong, but last I knew some of the products m7 sells are licensed to be sold thru them.
For instance. I had client come into MINI shop with what they thought was an identical aluminum coolant tank sold by m7. The MINI owner was half right. The fitting on the less expensive version was not set at correct angle to avoid the ps pump.
I also called grille craft about 5 yrs ago about their grilles, I was told they would only sell me one if m7 had no intentions of ordering one up for me...at the time they (m7) was all out.
If you order from GC direct, maybe just clarify what hardware comes with it so you don't end up with generic parts bag....
